About Aura Burditt
London, Ontario artist, Aura Burditt, is inspired by natural and rural Canadian landscapes, from rocks and trees to fields or sandy beaches. Primarily self-taught, Aura has attended numerous workshops to further define her personal style. She is actively involved in the community as a member of London Community Artists and the Gallery Painting Group.
Beyond creating art, Aura is an advocate for people facing challenges such as exploitation, homelessness, poverty, addiction, or mental health. A portion of her art sales continues to support community social service programs.
Aura loves the tranquil beauty of Canadian landscapes and their ability to convey the peace and healing that comes with immersing ourselves in nature. Her communication through art expression aims to leave the participant feeling at one with the subject and imperceptibly also at one with the artist.
